BAKIO TOWN COUNCIL WILL BE ABLE TO NOTIFY THE DIRECTORATE-GENERAL FOR TRAFFIC (DGT) OF CHANGES OF ADDRESS, WITHOUT BAKIO RESIDENTS HAVING TO GO TO BILBAO

 Latest

When a resident changes their address in Bakio, they must first modify their registration details at Bakio Town Council. In addition, if they own a vehicle, in order for that information to be reflected in the files of the Directorate-General For Traffic (DGT), they will no longer have to go to the Central Traffic Office in Bilbao, as Bakio Town Council has been providing a valuable service to the residents of Bakio since October 2009, and this procedure can now be dealt with by the Town Hall. The process is simple: When the interested party changes their registration details they only needs to present the original copy of their vehicle registration document. The only requirement is that they must have an up-to-date MOT certificate. This improvement is now possible thanks to an agreement signed between the Town Hall and the DGT.
